6th Grade: Minnesota Studies

Sixth graders at Transfiguration have a full year of Minnesota Studies. They explore from the first Minnesotans to present day Minnesota in the twenty-first century. By examining the stories of Minnesota they gain a greater concept of Citizenship, Economics, History, and Geography.

7th Grade: United States History (1865-Present)

Seventh graders at Transfiguration have a full year of United States History from the end of the civil war to present day. By examining our history students gain an understanding of how the United States reconstructed itself after the Civil War, became a world power, and how our nation has changed over the years. Concepts of Citizenship, Economics, History, and Geography are ingrained within every chapter.

8th Grade: Global Studies

Eighth graders at Transfiguration have a full year of Global Studies. They explore the human and physical geography from all the different continents and regions around the world. Students examine what it means to be a citizen, the economics of each area, the History of each country, and the geography of our world.
