Walking with Purpose
Walking with Purpose aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussion that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.
Jeff Cavins Study
This study is a Catholic Bible study that brings the history of Christ to life through Matthew's Gospel. Discover Jesus as the awaited Messiah who fulfills the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament! Join us in this 24-week study available Tuesday morning 9-11am or evening 7-9pm, Oct. 13 - May 10.
Several groups meet at Transfiguration throughout the year, including the summer, to study Scripture and to grow in our Catholic Faith, both personally and as a parish. Meetings include prayer, small-group discussion, and the weekly conference. Please contact the Parish Office at 651-738-2646 to learn about current opportunities.
“Hearts Afire” is a small-group program that helps us live our Catholic faith to the fullest. Starting with the 6-week retreat series, “33 Days to Morning Glory,” the goal of this program is to lead us to formally entrust ourselves to Mary, who leads us to Jesus. We continue our journey with the 10-week retreat series, “Consoling the Heart of Jesus,” which gives us a greater awareness of God’s mercy, and how we can console Jesus by accepting His love and trusting Him completely.
The third book, “One Thing is Three,” is a study of Church teachings and Catholic wisdom. All three of these programs need to be completed in order, and all of them are offered on a regular basis throughout the year. “Fueling the Flame” provides opportunities to continue to meet together as we grow in faith, following the completion of the preceding three series.

An Emmaus Experience:
“An Emmaus Experience” is a parish-based Retreat experience where women minister to other women. It is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35, where two disciples encounter the Risen Lord on the road to Emmaus. On the Retreat weekend, women take a break from their everyday concerns and are able to open their hearts and listen to Jesus Christ. The weekend is offered once per year, and includes witness talks, prayer and small groups. After the Retreat, Emmaus offers an further discipleship opportunities.
