The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered regularly in the Reconciliation Room inside the Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m. and 4 – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.
One way to prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is by reviewing an Examination of Conscience, such as the one available through the website of the United States Council of Catholic Bishop at: http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/sacraments/penance/index.cfm
A preparation program for First Reconciliation is offered each fall to help parents and children (usually second grade but may be older) integrate their understanding of Reconciliation. Parents and children come together several times for learning, prayer, and celebration. Transfiguration School Children in Grade 2 are automatically registered.
For more information please contact Carole Zempel at (651) 501-2204 or czempel@transfigurationmn.org
Adults wishing to receive First Reconciliation are encouraged to join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program.
