  • Transfiguration Council of Catholic Women

    The Transfiguration Council of Catholic Women offers many opportunities for the women of the Parish to meet great people while serving your Church and community. All women of the Parish are welcome and encouraged to join.

    Our Mission Statement:
    With a special devotion to Mary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the mission of the Transfiguration Council of Catholic Women is to glorify God by supporting the Parish through volunteer service and ministry, and by promoting friendship and unity among parish women and the community through spiritual, social and educational activities.

    Our Lady of Mount Carmel Award:
    Honoring Outstanding Young Women of Faith, Character and Service to Others
    The TCCW presents the Our Lady of Mount Caramel Award on an annual basis to a deserving young woman who has demonstrated the spirit of Mary, Our Lady of Mount Caramel, through acts of faith, service, and leadership. Scholarship Applications are available in Spring.

  • Walking With Purpose

    “Walking with Purpose” is a nationally acclaimed Women’s Bible Study program. Walking with Purpose endeavors to meet women where they are, giving them practical Biblical teaching that is consistent with Church doctrine and uses the Catechism of the Catholic Church as an additional resource.

    Walking with Purpose aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussion that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

    Walking with Purpose has three elements: at-home study, weekly small group meetings, and a monthly talk on relevant course material. The program has over seventy parishes involved in the United States, Europe and Canada and has helped thousands of women grow closer to Christ.

    Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your faith? You don’t have much scripture knowledge, but you would like to see how the scriptures apply to your everyday life? If so, I invite you to consider joining Walking with Purpose!

Men’s Groups

  • St. Paul East Metro Knights of Columbus

    We currently serve Saint Paul’s East Metro through fundraisers and service projects. Our membership, consisting of more than 250 Catholic men, comes from primarily these East Metro Catholic Churches: St. Ambrose of Woodbury, Blessed Sacrament, Saint Casimir, Transfiguration, Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Pascal Baylon, Saint Patrick’s.

  • League of Elijah

    The League of Elijah is designed for the men of Transfiguration to assist them in being the men God has called them to be.

    Men who are dedicated to Prayer. Men who will Protect. Men who will Provide. Men who will Establish.

    How to get involved?

    Leadership team (Quarterly meetings to plan events)
    Bi-monthly Man Nights
    Fr. Baer Memorial Lecture Series (3 Lectures during August)
    Monthly service/manual labor around the church (Saturday mornings)
